Described as one of the toughest two wheels endurance events in the world, Farmworks Australia are pleased to be a Diamond sponsor of TEAM LURE H20. Heading out of Derby on Sunday the 8th of May, 72 teams take on the wild GIBB RIVER ROAD in an epic 700km race through Western Australia’s spectacular Kimberley region. Team Lure H20 aims to raise in excess of $10,000 for two worthy charities - WA Police Legacy and Youth Focus WA.
Consisting of SYNERGY CONSULTING members David Pfeiffer and Stephen Pettenon and team members Geoff Hughan and Evan Shapely, the group has been training hard since October. The goal of Team H20 according to team member Stephen Pettenon is straight forward - ‘Raise awareness and funds for WA’s Police Legacy Group and the great work undertaken by Youth Focus WA and complete the ride safely while enjoying the Kimberly region and hospitality of all involved in the race. We will be riding through some pretty amazing country at a pace which will give us a chance to smell the roses and the dust! Even though we’re all in our forties with some of us and carrying some excess luggage, we have been putting in hard hours on the saddle and we look forward to the challenge of this special event’. |
